I.Q Final: Review

Intelligent Qube is a puzzle game that requires you to plan out your moves in order to pass each level. Basically you start out on a platform with a group of cubes in front of you, some white, some black and occasionally some green. They slowly roll towards you and your objective is to lay down a marker that will allow you to capture the white and green cubes while letting the black cubes roll past you and off the edge of the platform. After capturing a green cube it will leave a green square on the ground and pressing triangle on the controller will activate it causing any cubes surround this marker to be captured. You have a limited space to work with since you can only go backwards, if you capture a black cube or if a white cube rolls off the platform then part of the platform falls off further limiting the amount of space you have to work with. If you are crushed by a cube rolling onto you then all the remaining cubes will start rolling faster which usually causes a bunch of white ones to fall off, which causes a large portion of your platform to fall off. As you progress through the levels you have larger group of cubes to deal with and it becomes increasingly harder to plan on how to capture all these cubes before they fall off the edge. In the options menu you can select how many 'lives' you start with and after all these are used up it will present your with your IQ score. Very entertaining game and each time your play the cubes are arranged differently since it's all random so there is good amount of replay value. It is hard to beat, although once beat it loses much of it's fun.
