Yu-No is one of those point-and-click adventure games where you have to find items and use them in the right place to advance the story. There are also a number of conversation sections where you choose a response from a list of choices. Like 999 for the Nintendo DS, beating the game requires you to repeat most scenes while choosing a different response from the one you chose before. The story involves a mysterious device that the main character's missing archaeologist father leaves behind for him. It allows you to travel to alternate dimensions and leave behind a marker which you can return to from any place and time. It serves as the game's save mechanism, with only a limited number of saves allowed, and it also allows you to map out the choices (dimensions) you've already selected so you can try a different route next time. Good game overall. However it is a 3-disc game, and only two discs are available here.
