Boxing Legends of the Ring: Review
Leonard, Toney, Haggler, Hearns, Duran, LaMotta, Graziano and more grace the action of this full boxing sim. Boxing Legends of the Ring steps into the squared circle with all the tools a boxing game can muster, and features some of the best middleweight contenders in the history of the sport to that time. Each boxers has his own style and patterns, and the power to back up the hype. The game gives you the chance to create the perfect boxer with a then-robust set of tools that allow for impressive customization. The game is quick to learn and uses interesting and novel visual tricks to make you feel like you're in a real boxing match. Sound and music are solid and the visuals, though somewhat stiff, are evocative and true to life. The game is a little easy after a time, but don't be fooled. It can surprise you. And the Vs. mode is also a lot of fun.
