Kakutou Ryouri Densetsu Bistro Recipe Kettou Bistgarm Hen

The second of the two Bistro Recipe games for the GBC, Bistgarm is a monster collection and battling game where you cook up your Foodon and send them into battle against King Gorge's evil Glutton empire! It also includes multiplayer battling and trading from the main screen. The battle engine will be familiar to anyone who has played pokemon but has a few differences, one difference is the inability to switch out your Foodon during battle, another difference is power toppings, power toppings are the items of bistro recipe and they can be used to recover health, give status effects, or remove them. Power toppings can also be thrown at your opponents foodons, and the effects of power toppings on a foodon are dependent on what ingrediants they are made of and what type of foodon they are. You might recognize some of the monsters in this game, because a short anime called Fighting Foodons was produced based on these games. You can cruise thru this game in about a day and a half, but you can play these games for many days more trying to get all the recipes.
