Clay Fighter - Sculptor's Cut: Review

This is basically an expanded version of ClayFighter 63 1/3. It's got the same gameplay, same brand of humor, and the same action. So what does this game bring to the table that makes it better? Well...

The game brings back some characters that got cut from 63 1/3: Lockjaw Pooch, Lady Liberty, the Zappa Yow Yow Boyz, and High Five. It has a new, less dull navigation system, and everything just looks more vibrant. The map of Claymodo Island, the character icons, even the sprites of the returning cast have been improved. The game also adds more to the story mode: pre-fight banter before the final fight, and an epilogue for you, the champ. Also added is a really catchy intro tune (Good luck gettin' it out of your head!). Basically, everything in 63 1/3 has been kicked up a notch. If you have to make a choice between 63 1/3 and Sculptor's Cut, go with Sculptor's Cut. It's just a little better.
