Bust-A-Move '99: Review

Bust A Move 99 is part of the Bust A Move puzzle game series by Taito. Bust A Move has you shooting colored bubbles at other colored bubbles and the goal is to pop all of them on the screen. To do so you must place at least 3 of the same colored bubbles together so accuracy is the key element in this game. The trick to this game is the bubbles will keep coming down closer and closer to where your shooter is and if it falls below the shooter you lose so you must pop all the bubbles before that happens. Not only can you pop the bubbles but you can also drop them, to drop them pop higher placed bubbles above the ones you wanna drop, once you pop all the bubbles above these the lower ones will drop. Dropping bubbles is a must when playing against other players as doing so causes more bubbles to appear on there screen. The goal when playing with others or the computer is to make sure there bubbles drop under the shooting line thus causing you to win. There is also a puzzle mode where players can test there accuracy against staff made puzzles. You can play with up to 4 players and there are several characters you can choose from although some you have to unlock. This game will only save with a Controller Pak accessory so if you like the game enough make sure you have one.
